Wilderness Championship Meet Highlights

The PCA Spring Track Team has been having a very successful season! At the Wilderness Championship Meet on May 18th, PCA track athletes continued to win and break records.

The day started out very well with the girls 4x800m repeating as conference champions (1st repeat champs in our history) by about 200m. Relay members were: Lily Kjendal, Emily Vaccaro, Delaney Kjendal and Liza Corso.

Another great highlight was Cameron Peirce’s school record in the Discus – where he actually broke it two times with a final distance of 115′ 8″.

The other bookend of an exciting day was Liza Corso’s very solid win (and PR) in the 3200m. Liza’s time was good for the 2nd fastest in Division III this season.

In addition, Luke O’Halloran, an 8th grader, established two new JH School Records with his times in the 800m and 1600m. Luke trains with the Upper School team and competes with both the US and JH teams.

Congratulations to all our athletes!
