Portsmouth Christian Academy (PCA) is located in Dover, New Hampshire, just north of the city of Portsmouth. As the largest non-denominational Christian school in New England, we partner with families throughout Rockingham and Strafford Counties well into our neighboring states of Maine and Massachusetts, providing an academically excellent, Christ-centered program.
From preschool to grade 12, your child will be given life-changing learning opportunities at PCA. On our 50-acre campus, students are a part of a loving community where they are encouraged to discover their God-given gifts and strive toward their full potential.
Why Families Choose PCA
Our Schools
Preschool
With two unique classes for three- and four-year-old students, PCA’s Preschool program fosters a genuine love for learning, a sense of independence, and a strong foundation for future school success. We offer flexible schedule options to fit every family’s needs.
Lower School
At PCA, kindergarten through 5th grade students build solid foundations across the core subject areas while maturing academically, socially, and spiritually. Our lower school is broken into two houses: primary (grades K-2) and elementary (grades 3-5).
Middle School
Our Middle School program at PCA includes grade 6 through 8 and challenges students to solve important problems, lead and follow in a supportive learning environment and develop a personal identity in the context of community. A wide range of electives and extracurricular activities also provide our students the opportunity to explore their own areas of interest and gifting.
Upper School
Our high school program offers a rigorous curriculum that encourages students to pursue their passions. With a strong emphasis on college prep, we offer many honors and AP courses, as well as a highly individualized guidance and college counseling program.
