Six PCA Seniors Named NHIAA Scholar Athletes

Portsmouth Christian Academy is proud to announce that six of our seniors, Hannah Dion, Sierra Lignos, Brianna Malone, Gunner Burgess, Liahna Messier and Luke O’Halloran have been honored with the 2023 New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association (NHIAA) and New Hampshire Athletic Directors Association (NHADA) Scholar Athlete Award. This award is presented each year to high school seniors who have excelled in athletics as well as academics while demonstrating outstanding school and community spirit and leadership.

The Annual NHIAA and NHADA Scholar Athlete Awards were presented on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 for member schools in Division IV at The Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, NH. The criteria for the award were as follows:

1. Must be a New Hampshire high school senior. 

2. Must have a B+ or equivalent grade point average throughout high school career. 

3. Must letter and be currently active in at least two NHIAA recognized sports (may include spring sports season).

4. Must be a positive role model who has participated in Community Service activities.
