Senior Audrey Smith Signs Letter of Intent

Congratulations to PCA Senior Audrey Smith, who signed a Letter of Intent to join the Rowing Team at Mercyhurst University!

Audrey, who will begin at Mercyhurst in the fall, has been rowing since 2018 with Great Bay Rowing in Dover. Her coaches are Hallie Woods, Haig Caviston, and Fred Loucks.

Coach Hallie Woods says, “Audrey is the epitome of what a rowing teammate should be. Not only does she work incredibly hard to improve and become stronger and faster, but she’s so organized and so on top of everything that she’s taken true ownership of her own training of her own success.”

Audrey began attending PCA when she was in fourth grade and has been involved in Symphony, Pit Orchestra, Student Council, Tri-M Music Society, and the Chapel Team. She has also consistently received High Honors academically.

Audrey says, “I feel that PCA has prepared me in many ways; mostly a sense of responsibility and working hard. I have learned in the past four years how to manage time, hold my ability to do work to a higher standard, and also know my capabilities; what I am capable of, and what I need to work on.”

Audrey will join the Mercyhurst Lakers in the fall, where she will study Hospitality Management with a concentration in Event Planning.

Congratulations, Audrey!
