Pioneering Naval Aviator to be Guest Speaker at Portsmouth Christian Academy’s 2016 “On Eagles’ Wings”Annual Gala

October 7, 2016 – Dover, NH – Portsmouth Christian Academy (PCA) is pleased to announce that pioneering Naval Aviator, Karen Baetzel, will be the guest speaker at their annual fundraising gala – “On Eagles’ Wings” – on October 15 at The Oaks in Somersworth, NH. The theme of this year’s annual gala – sponsored by Cutter Family Properties of Rollinsford, NH – is “On Eagles’ Wings.” The public is invited to attend this special evening of celebration and inspiration featuring PCA student ambassadors.

The parent of two PCA alumni, Karen Baetzel is a fusion of tough-minded senior military leader, successful corporate executive, and gifted speaker and trainer. She retired after thirty years as one of the United States Navy’s most senior female Naval Aviators and one of the few Naval Aviators of either gender qualified as an Aircraft Commander in helicopters, propeller and jet aircraft. After her Commanding Officer tour, she served as an Instructor on the elite Navy Leadership Training Team and then translated that success in the corporate world before founding her own business, BattleAxe Consulting.
