PCA Senior Softball Player Cy Karnes Signs Letter of Intent

Congratulations to PCA senior and softball player Cy Karnes! Cy’s signed her letter of intent to play softball at Houghton College.

Cy has played summer travel ball for 8 years and has been awarded more than 15 MVP tournament awards. Summer ball has challenged Cy, both physically and mentally. Last summer, she pitched 3 full games back to back, still throwing strikes in the last inning. During her PCA softball career she has received the Most Improved Award, MVP, NHIAA Granite State Honorable Mention, and Outstanding Pitching Award. Cy, along with her team, has made 3 Final Four appearances in the NHIAA softball tournament.

Cy had an outstanding year last year for the PCA softball team. She tied for the lead in pitching wins going 7-2 with a 2.56 ERA striking out 75 batters in 52 innings pitched. Cy also earned the pitching wins in two play off games!
