Mondays with Mike: Welcome Back! Spring Forward, Finish Strong
I hope you had a blessed and restorative Easter and spring break. Today’s Mondays with Mike podcast is now live, and I want to invite you to take a few minutes to listen as we step into these final six weeks of the school year. In this episode, I share a few personal updates, offer a look ahead at a very full and exciting May, and highlight some ways God is at work across our campus. It is good to be back with you.
Thank you again for your prayers and encouragement; you have been a blessing to Christy and to me during this season.
A few highlights from this week’s podcast:
- National Day of Prayer takes place this Thursday—we would love for you to pray alongside us wherever you are. You are welcome to join us; the link to watch is also included–please share!
- Teacher Appreciation Week is underway—thank you for taking a moment to bless our teachers and staff who pour out so much each day.
- Spring athletics are in full swing with over 100 Eagles competing in baseball, softball, tennis, and track. Come cheer them on!
- Congratulations to our fifth-grade SeaPerch teams—two of our teams qualified for Nationals after competing at the UNH pool. A huge accomplishment for our students!
- NWEA growth assessments begin soon—helping us see how your children have grown academically this year.
- The Music Man spring musical is coming later this month—another chance to celebrate the incredible gifts God is growing in our students.
As you will hear, I have been walking the campus a lot lately—both for recovery and reflection. Penny, our golden doodle, has been a faithful companion along the trails, the river, and the new acreage God has entrusted to us. It has been a reminder that in every season, there is new life springing up—sometimes quietly, sometimes gloriously—and always under His care.
Thank you for being a vital part of this community. Let us finish this year strong—together, with faith, joy, and open hearts. I look forward to seeing you on campus, on the trails, or in the stands.
Grace and peace,
Mike
