Junior High Boys Basketball Reaches GENH Finals
Portsmouth Christian Academy’s Junior High Varsity Boys Basketball team will compete in the GENH Championship this Saturday!
The team defeated Milton 54-40 on Monday night in the semi-final game in front of a packed house at PCA, securing their spot in Saturday’s game.
PCA Athletic Director Derek Summers says, “Our junior high athletes have worked hard to get to this point in their season. We’re proud of their accomplishments so far and we’re looking forward to supporting them on Saturday.”
The team is coach by Waldemar Kohl.
The junior high athletic program at PCA sets the foundation for student-athletes who will compete at the Division IV level at PCA’s Upper School.
Be sure to come out to support the team on Saturday, February 1st at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. The game will start around 10:45 after the league all-star selections are announced.
