History of the Cold War Project

Dr. Ray Gamble teaches a  History of the Cold War course to Upper School students.  During the class students have a project involving the creation of a timeline of Cold War events that illustrate the level of tension between the United States and Soviet Union from 1941-1991. Each team of two students is tasked to identify at least 12 events, with at least 2 in each decade across the time frame.

This year, juniors Jack Longo and Matthew Esters created their project using an online website to display their timeline. They listed 33 events, and selected imagery and either video clips or Internet articles to provide a detailed explanation for each one. See their project HERE.
