Opportunities in theatre abound at PCA with programs for students from kindergarten through grade 12. For grades K-5 this means a chance to become acquainted with theatre, production, movement, and dance through offerings in the Kaleidoscope after school enrichment program. The Fall production provides opportunities on the stage for Grades 4 – 8, and Upper School students can audition for parts in the Winter and Spring productions. Students are also given the opportunity to be involved backstage and behind the scenes.

- Tracks by Peter Tarsi A group of strangers meet in a dirty subway station. They have arrived with limited personal belongings, their watches have stopped and they all claim to be in different cities. Soon they learn there is no way out of the station. The arrival of someone from the other platform only complicates matters, and the answer remains unclear. Come find out the conclusion to this thought-provoking drama! Note: Thematic elements may not be suitable for younger children.
- The Surprise by G.K. Chesterton When a Franciscan Monk bumps into a Hippie Artist he is treated to a “puppet show” featuring the Artist’s Clock Work performers. (Did you know you could fit that many fairy tale characters in one VW bus?) As they explore the ideas of story and the meaning of humanity, the Artist is looking for a miracle and as it turns out, the Monk – um… knows a guy… This fun and introspective romp though absurdity and seriousness was penned by the hero of CS Lewis, the Patron Saint of Wit and Paradox, Apostle of Common Sense himself, GK Chesterton.
Fall Show: Alice Through the Looking Glass (Grades 4-8) November 8-10, 2018. Based on Lewis Carroll’s classic squeal to “Wonderland,” Alice: Through the Looking Glass follows a young girl on a comical and harrowing adventure through her own thoughts. Alice matches wits with the likes of Humpty Dumpty, The Mad Hatter, Tweedledee and Tweedledum as well as the royalty from her own chess set. All the while the Jabberwocky is lurking in the background. Will Alice cross the land of zany characters and become a Queen or will she simply lose herself in the woods and remain a Pawn in someone else’s game? “Who’s dream do you think this is anyway?”

Drama provides a creative outlet and extracurricular activity for many of our students. They work extremely hard to provide our community with quality entertainment. We hope that we can depend on your support as we display your advertisement in our theatrical program.I want to support PCA Theatre!
