“All the world’s a stage…”

Opportunities in theatre abound at PCA with programs for students from kindergarten through grade 12.  For grades K-5 this means a chance to become acquainted with theatre, production, movement, and dance through offerings in the Kaleidoscope after school enrichment program.  The Fall production provides opportunities on the stage for Grades 4 – 8, and Upper School students can audition for parts in the Winter and Spring productions. Students are also given the opportunity to be involved backstage and behind the scenes.

The PCA Players are excited to share with you the dramatic production Runyonland:A Pandemic Experience (adapted by Kelli Connors) on May 28, 29, and 30 at 7 pm each evening. Damon Runyon was a short story writer whose stories celebrated Broadway and New York City.  To learn more, come watch the show at this link. Funny and engaging, this production is not to be missed!   An art showing of works by PCA Upper School Art students will be part of the evening as well!

We encourage you to support Portsmouth Christian Academy by advertising in our theatrical programs that are distributed to all patrons who see our shows. By advertising with us, you will reach a portion of the community (hundreds of attendees) and many others from the surrounding area. We accept both company and personal “Shout Out” ads. Shout out ads may include a photo or just words of encouragement but must be sent digitally.

Drama provides a creative outlet and extracurricular activity for many of our students. They work extremely hard to provide our community with quality entertainment. We hope that we can depend on your support as we display your advertisement in our theatrical program.

I want to support PCA theatre!
