“All the world’s a stage…” Well, at least this corner of it is.
Students at PCA have the opportunity to participate in two full-length productions each year. In recent years, the spring productions have included musicals such as Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Little Women, Fiddler on the Roof, and Cinderella. Comedies and more serious dramas come to the stage in the fall with productions of The Miracle Worker, Harvey, Murder is Bad, but Monday will Kill You and Four Way: The Town that Time Forgot.
Opportunities in theatre abound at PCA with programs for students from kindergarten through grade 12. For grades K-5 this means a chance to become acquainted with theatre, production, movement, and dance through offerings in the Kaleidoscope after school enrichment program. Junior high and Upper School students are both welcome to audition for parts in the regular productions. Students are also given the opportunity to be involved backstage and behind the scenes.
Come and experience the PCA stage for yourself, we always welcome actors, crew, and of course, audience members!

We encourage you to support Portsmouth Christian Academy by advertising in our theatrical program. They are distributed to all patrons who see our shows. By advertising with us, you will reach a portion of the community (hundreds of attendees) and many others from the surrounding area. We accept both company and personal “Shout Out” ads. Shout out ads may include a photo or just words of encouragement but must be sent digitally.
Drama provides a creative outlet and extracurricular activity for many of our students. They work extremely hard to provide our community with quality entertainment. We hope that we can depend on your support as we display your advertisement in our theatrical program.
