JH Heads to Championship Games, Varsity Boys are undefeated, Varsity Girls are on a role….

Junior High Basketball
Following outstanding regular seasons in the junior high GENH League, both our Girls and Boys 7-8 grade basketball teams entered the GENH League tournament this season as the #1 seeds. The girls defeated Seacoast Christian in the semi final and will be playing St. Elizabeth Seton in the championship game. The boys defeated Wakefield in the semi final game, and will be facing off against St. Mary’s Academy for the championship. The championship games take place on Saturday, January 30.

The girls game begins at 9am and the boys game will follow, beginning around 11am. Be sure to come out and cheer them on! There is a $2 admission for adults. Students and seniors are free.

JV and Varsity Boys Basketball
Our high school boys basketball teams remain undefeated mid way through the season! Our Varsity team went 2-0 this week improving their record to 9-0! On Tuesday they defeated Derryfield at home in overtime! This was the first time our boys have beaten them in over 7 years! They went on to make quick work of Nute on Thursday night by cruising to a 71-28 victory. The JV boys team is 8-0 and they look to remain undefeated tonight against Mount Royal Academy.

Varsity Girls on a role
Since losing their first 3 games of the season, the varsity girls team has stormed back by winning 6 of their last 8 games. Be sure to come out and support them in their next home game against Derryfield on Monday, February 1, at 6:00pm.

5th & 6th Grade Girls Basketball
The 5/6 grade girls team remained undefeated after defeating St. Mary’s Academy on Monday night to improve their record to 5-0! They will be tested again tonight at St. Elizabeth Seton in Rochester at 5:30.
