Get to Know Mrs. Roets
Mrs. Roets is a dedicated educator who has made a significant impact at PCA since joining in 2020. Initially serving as a first-grade teacher, she is now an integral part of the Mosaic program. Her commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment is evident in her interactions with students, as she incorporates lessons of faith and character into her teaching. With a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction specializing as a Reading Specialist and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Mrs. Roets holds certifications in both New Hampshire and Hawaii. She is an ACSI-certified educator and a Certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner, reflecting her strong commitment to literacy and instilling values rooted in a Christian perspective.

Her extensive qualifications include a Micro Credential in LETRS: Mastering the Science of Reading in New Hampshire, as well as training in various literacy curricula and strategies, such as LiPS, Visualizing and Verbalizing, and Seeing Stars. Additionally, she has received advanced training in addressing dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, autism spectrum disorders, and advanced self-regulation techniques for children—all while integrating a biblical worldview into her approach.

What Mrs. Roets loves most about teaching at PCA is witnessing her students’ incredible growth, both academically and spiritually. She feels passionate about teaching them to read and helping them expand their abilities to the fullest, always encouraging them to see their unique gifts as part of God’s plan for their lives. With the support of talented educators and resources at PCA, she has observed remarkable spiritual, academic, and socio-emotional growth in her students, nurturing their faith as they learn and develop.

Living in New Hampshire with her husband and two children—both current PCA students—Mrs. Roets embraces her community at PCA with gratitude. Proud to be part of the PCA family, she is committed to nurturing the next generation of learners with a servant’s heart and guiding them not only in their education but also in their faith journeys.
