Fiston Kapongo, a 2019 PCA graduate, has distinguished himself in college soccer where he plays for the NH Technical Institute Men’s soccer team. In his first year he has scored the most goals of anyone on his team and anyone in the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC). Congratulations to PCA Senior Kathryn Komerska, the grand prize winner of PCA’s 7th Annual Auction Art Contest! Her piece “Pleasant Afternoon” is a whimsical depiction, in warm and acrylic tones, of a summer BBQ, portraying the generosity, love, and enjoyment of a family feast.
An Artists’ Reception will be held on March 15, 2019 at 3:30pm in the PCA gym lobby, to honor all of the winners of the juried art contest associated with PCA’s 24th Annual Auction. With 85 submissions, the Art Contest is a significant component of PCA’s 24th Annual Auction. The theme of this year’s Auction – The Bountiful Table: Sowing, Harvesting, Feasting – represents a literal celebration of farm to table as well as the abundance of spirit within the PCA community. Congratulations to our Varsity Boys Basketball Team for their well-deserved 64-42 victory over Derryfield this week! The Eagles defeated the Cougars here at PCA on Tuesday evening and were featured as the Great Bay Game of the Week.
Congratulations to this year’s Spelling Bee winner, Yohan Koshy from 7B! On January 6, students in grades 3-8 competed in 27 rounds with the final word being sauna. Yohan will be representing PCA in the NH State Spelling Bee in Concord on February 23rd. Congratulations also go to Avery Wamberg from 6B who was the runner up.
