Beyond Academics

Academics, athletics, and fine arts are essential at any good school, but PCA’s transformative difference extends beyond the classroom, and it’s found in the character-driven, Christian culture, the supportive community of parents and students, and the relational learning environment where students are uniquely equipped with emotional intelligence, spiritual maturity, authentic identity, and the biblical blueprint for purposeful living.

Serving families from Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts, PCA is a non-denominational Christian school that aims to maximize each child’s God-given potential, sending them out to impact the world for good.

We see these kids as made in God’s image. To us, they’re our little brothers and sisters, and so we care for them in a different way.

Character Development

At PCA, education is about more than academics—it’s about shaping students into individuals of integrity, perseverance, and purpose. Through faith-driven mentorship and open discussion of morality and ethics, students develop the confidence and wisdom to lead with character in every aspect of life.

Positive School Culture

PCA is a place where students are truly known, supported, and encouraged to grow. Our faith-based community fosters deep connections, ensuring every student feels valued and surrounded by kindness, empathy, and genuine care. Each student deserves a learning environment where they feel they can belong.

Relational Environment

Strong relationships are at the heart of a meaningful education. At PCA, teachers serve as mentors who invest personally in each student’s journey. With small class sizes and an intentional focus on mentorship, students receive the guidance, support, and encouragement they need to thrive.

Playoff-Caliber Athletics

Competing in the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association, PCA’s athletics program fosters teamwork, discipline, and perseverance through competitive sports in a Christ-honoring environment. Many of our athletes have gone on to compete at the collegiate level, playing at schools like:

Babson University
University of Jamestown
High Point University
Lipscomb University
Gordon College

Although the challenging academics pushed me to maintain excellence in college and beyond, the teachers continue to have a lasting impact on my relationship with God as they continue to check in on me throughout my life.

My class, being only 45 students, was small. However, no matter the size, the bond between you and your graduating class is like no other. Some of us had been going to school together for thirteen years or more, and we were always happy to welcome new members to our family.
