Alumni Stories: Logan & Jewel

Alumni Spotlight: Logan and Jewel, Class of 2021
February is the month of love, and this month, we’re taking a different approach to our alumni stories—highlighting PCA graduates who met their high school sweetheart right here on campus.
Some love stories begin in the most unexpected places—like a kindergarten playground. Logan and Jewel’s journey started at PCA, where they met as young children and quickly formed a bond. Though their paths took different turns—Logan leaving in Grade 10 to be homeschooled while Jewel graduated with the Class of 2021—fate had a way of bringing them back together.
Logan and Jewel met as youngsters in kindergarten at PCA. While Logan left PCA in grade 10 to be homeschooled, Jewel is an Alum of the class of 2021. Read Jewel’s account of they came to reconnect for a lifetime together.
Jewel: “Logan and I have many sweet memories of playing on the playground together in elementary school. We both had a huge crush on one another starting in kindergarten.
“We reconnected during the Spring of our senior years of high school, and we both began attending Liberty University the following fall. Our connection was immediate and obvious. Our shared experiences at PCA meant that we knew each other extremely well. We both knew early on that we would get married.”
The couple now lives in Franklin, Tennessee where Logan is working in the Christian music industry and Jewel is pursuing her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling this fall.
