PCA Alum Timothy Lagoy Takes Stage in Les Miserables
Grove City College recently performed five sold out shows of the musical Les Miserables, considered one of the greatest novels of the 19th century examining the nature of law and grace. The audiences appreciated the brilliant performance of the actors and the delivery of the musical score.
PCA alum, Timothy Lagoy (‘12), was extraordinary as the Revolutionist, Enjolras, leading the people against the ever increasing French tyranny. Timothy’s role in the musical included “Red and Black,” the classic revolutionist battle song and he was stage front for the classic “Can You Hear the People Sing”. The entire cast performed with passion and heart; moving the audiences to both tears and laughter.
Friday night’s performance was observed by representatives of the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival and will be considered for invitation to the KCACTF national festival at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC in the spring of 2013.
