Where can I find the school calendar?

You can reference our Key Dates Calendar for breaks, early release days, and other important dates.  Our Yearly Planner outlines all events throughout the year, and will be finalized for the 2022-2023 prior to the start of the school year.

What is the dress code?

These PDFs outline our Lower School and Upper School Dress Codes.

Dress code items can be purchased from JC Penney or  Lands’ End.

Items purchased at JC Penney may be monogrammed with our logo using Deb & Duke Monogrammers, located at 8 Sullivan St, Berwick, ME 03901 | DEB N DUKES (companycasuals.com)

Is there somewhere I may purchase second-hand clothing?

Yes! The Swap Shop at the Lower School is located downstairs at the bottom of the stairwell from the Main Lobby. You can purchase gently used clothing for $3 per item, or you can swap items for free.

During the summer, you can stop in to visit the Swap Shop on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 AM – 1 PM. During the school year, the Swap Shop is open during school hours. Please make sure to give your payment to the receptionist at the Lower School.

If you’re donating or swapping, items should be clean, unstained, and in gently used condition.  PCA approved uniform items can be dropped off at the Lower School receptionist.

What supplies does my child need for the start of school?

The Preschool supply list can be found at this link.

School supply lists for Grades K-8 are available at this link.

Lists for the Upper School are available at this link.

How do I sign up for school lunches?

PCA has arranged, with several local restaurants, to provide lunches to our students which parents may purchase on a quarterly basis.  This provides an alternative to packing a lunch each day for your child(ren).

Online lunch registration begins a couple weeks prior to each quarter and parents are notified via email when registration is open.

Visit this page for more information. Once registration opens, you may visit Veracross to register for Lower School and Upper School lunches.

When are athletic team tryouts?

Stay tuned for Athletic Team Tryout dates and times.

Contact Derek Summers with questions.

What do I need to know about Before Care and After Care?

Families interested in Beforecare and Aftercare services will need to preregister each quarter through the Kaleidoscope registration page. Preregistration will allow PCA to staff each house appropriately for the number of students registered. Information about Beforecare and Aftercare for 2020-2021 can be found here.

Please note: Review and finalization of Before and Aftercare for the 2022-2023 school year will be available during the summer.

How does my Upper School Student obtain a parking pass and what are the requirements for senior privileges?

To obtain a parking pass for Upper School students, please print and submit this form.

Senior Privileges: Seniors must have documented service hours (50 for each year in attendance) in order to be eligible for open campus / senior lounge at the beginning of the senior year; in addition, all service hours must be completed by the end of quarter three of the senior year in order to maintain senior privileges. Seniors who have not completed their hours by such time will receive a letter from the Principal/College Counseling Office, noting how many hours are left to meet graduation requirements. Seniors who have not satisfied the service hour requirement will have their diplomas and transcripts withheld until the requirement is satisfied. Seniors who are eligible for Senior Privileges need to submit this contract.

What do I need to know about the music program for my child in the Lower School?

Requirements for music classes vary by grade level.

Grade 4-5 can reference this letter.

Junior High parents can reference this letter.

What is available for first quarter after school Kaleidoscope Workshops and when do they start?

An example of Kaleidoscope Workshops can be found here.
