Whenever you need to bring your child to school before the academic day begins, or if your meeting runs long and you can’t make it here for the last pickup, there is no need to worry. Our staff is here as early as 7:00 each morning and stays as late as 5:45 each afternoon in order to provide you with a wide range of childcare times to fit your schedule.
Before care (7:00-8:00) takes place in the gym and gym annex. Drop your child off at the upper loop in front of the gym doors. They can play games with friends or participate in our Happy Feet walking program. Come early to get the blood flowing and the brain primed for learning! You can even stay and walk with your child!
Aftercare (3:30-5:45) takes place in our Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) in the lower level of the school. Students enjoy recess outside when the weather is favorable and play games and other activities in our open space.
This year, we’ve added a community service component to include guest speakers who introduce service projects for students to make a difference to those in need. Whether it’s making blankets for sick, injured, or traumatized children through a partnership with Project Linus or making Christmas cards for deployed troops in coordination with Pease Greeters, students will have the opportunity to connect with and serve the community around us.
Our rate for morning and aftercare is $6.75 per hour per child billed in 30-minute increments. There is no need to pre-register or sign up! If your child is not picked up by the last call, they will be escorted to the MPR by our staff. Your school account will be charged at the end of our two-week billing cycles. There is a surcharge for anyone picked up after 5:45pm. The surcharge is $10.00 for the first 10 minutes and then $1.00 for every minute thereafter.
When you come to pick up your child in the afternoon, please park in the lower school parking lot and proceed to the red door on the lower side of the building. You will be prompted to ring the buzzer and pass a security camera. Sign your child out from the MPR with our staff.
