Welcome to the home of Kaleidoscope Enrichment Programs! Here at Portsmouth Christian Academy, we emphasize education of the whole child, which takes place well beyond the walls of the classroom. We know that minds as well as hearts need to be educated, and that occurs in a variety of settings – on a stage or on a playing field, with an instrument or with a paintbrush, independently or collaboratively. As we strive to fulfill our school’s mission to teach and encourage each student to maximize their God-given intellectual, artistic, physical, and spiritual potential, we find it imperative to offer a variety of enrichment opportunities designed to help your child discover new interests and skills, or develop existing ones.
We offer child care before and after our school day, small group after-school classes, private music lessons, academic enrichment and support, and summer programs. Read more about each of these exciting opportunities and register your child today!
Before and Aftercare
Families interested in Beforecare and Aftercare services will need to preregister each quarter through the Kaleidoscope registration page. Preregistration will allow PCA to staff each house appropriately for the number of students registered. Click here for more information.
Our dismissal period is the perfect time for your child to leave the classroom and join other students in a themed workshop to discover new interests or develop existing skills! We offer many different classes each quarter that range from robotics to dodgeball. Students can try new ones each quarter!
If you have questions about Kaleidoscope Workshops please contact Jodi Karnes.

If your child is hitting a rough patch when it comes to a certain subject, or if you would like for them to develop better study habits and time management, we offer private tutoring and other professional services to meet your needs.
