Mid-year enrollment FAQ

Is Variable Tuition available for families who enroll mid-year?

Yes! Families who enroll mid-year are eligible to receive a reduced rate. This is in addition to a pro-rated tuition based on the number of school days your child will be enrolled. You can apply for Variable Tuiton at this link.

Are there seats available in my child's grade level?

Some of our classes are full. To check availability for your child(ren)’s grade level, please contact the Admissions Office at admissions@pcaschool.org to inquire.

How soon can my child start?

Start dates vary and depend on a few factors including how quickly you submit application materials, class schedules, and your family’s preference. Please reference this webpage to see what items will be needed to complete your child’s application. Shortly after your child’s application is complete, you will receive an admissions decision. After that, a start date will be chosen.

How do new students get involved?

We encourage newly enrolled students to get involved by attending events, participating in clubs, and trying out for athletic teams. In addition to extra-curricular and social opportunities, our teachers and staff place an intentional focus on encouraging children to build relationships with friends – new and old.

Will my child be behind?

It is important to us that all students have the resources they need to maximize their potential. All children, prior to enrollment, will be tested so that our Academic Dean can assess needs and placement. Once your child is enrolled, he/she will be placed in the right class for their level and potential.

What kinds of activities can my child expect to participate in?

There is so much happening in our classrooms during the second semester… from the Preschool unit about different cultures to the Upper School performance of Guys and Dolls. Check out a full list here!
