Thank you for your interest in an Experience Day at Portsmouth Christian Academy! We believe that the best way for you and your children to know if PCA is right for you is for your children to get to experience PCA for themselves.
Please fill out the form at the bottom of this page to sign up for your Experience Day. This form must be filled out prior to your student’s visit. Upon completion of the form, Tristan Agasi will work with you to confirm a date for your child’s visit and to answer any questions you may have.
Where to go and what to expect:
Lower School (Grades K-8)
You should arrive with your child at the Lower School front lobby between 8-8:10 am to sign in. A representative from our Admissions team will be there to greet you. From there, your child will be connected with their host teacher and classmates for the day. The majority of your child’s day will be spent with a current student experiencing classes, culture, and community. In addition, Lower School guests will be given a Math and English assessment during their time with us. These benchmark assessments are given to all of our Lower School visitors during their Experience Days and will be reviewed with you during the Parent Meeting as the final step in applying to PCA.
Students who are visiting Junior High will also have a student interview with our Lower School Principal during their visit with us.
Send your child with lunch, snack, and water for the day. Regarding dress, your child does not need to come in our uniform; rather, we ask that he/she dress according to our dress code, which can be found here.
The Experience Day will end at 3 pm, but please feel free to come in around 2:50 pm to pick up your child and avoid the dismissal traffic.
Upper School (Grades 9-12)
You should arrive at Runey Hall (first building on the right) at 7:55 am to sign in. Your child’s Experience Day will begin at 8 am and end at 3:20 pm. You may pick your child up at Runey Hall as well. When you arrive, a representative from our Admissions team will be there to greet and introduce you to your child’s host. The majority of your child’s day will be spent with a current student experiencing classes, culture, and community. During the Experience Day, your child will have a student interview with either our Dean of Men or our Dean of Women.
Send your student with lunch, snack and water, as well as a book or something to do should one of the classes have a quiz or exam. Students should dress according to our dress code, which can be found here.
We are looking forward to getting to know your child during their visit!
